Building Values & Behavioral Competency Framework for a Large Textile Manufacturer

Client Context

A 60+ years large legacy textiles company was looking at next level of growth through an impactful intervention which focused on an enterprise level transformation.

Objective

The organization was looking at cascading a value system which defines the true way of working and enhances the experience of the customers (internal & external). They also wanted to build a Behavioral Competency Framework which strengthens performance and contributes to the overall growth of the organisation.


Vyapt’s Approach

Vyapt conducted diagnostic studies across multiple plants and leadership levels to identify competency gaps and execution challenges. Based on these insights, a structured Values and Behavioral Competency Framework was developed with defined behavioral indicators.

The intervention also included leadership workshops and integration of competencies into performance evaluation and development processes.


Impact

The framework improved clarity in behavioral expectations and strengthened leadership alignment across operational units. The intervention enabled more structured capability assessment and performance discussions across 10+ locations while improving consistency in leadership evaluation and development processes. It also supported stronger alignment between organizational values and day-to-day execution and resulted in higher EBITDA margins.
